Job Summary
Lead and manage residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish; install and replace residential AC systems including split systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits; supervise and train apprentice or helper installers on job sites; ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes; install ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drainage, and electrical connections; perform system start-up, testing, and commissioning; diagnose and resolve installation-related issues on site; communicate clearly with homeowners regarding system operation and maintenance; maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site; complete job documentation, photos, and required paperwork; coordinate with dispatch, management, and sales teams to ensure smooth installations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven leadership or crew lead experience
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, airflow, and electrical fundamentals
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments
