Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in compliance with Planned Parenthood of Illinois protocols, including education and counseling services. Supervise RHA staff in the manager's absence, manage Health Center flow, and assist with Risk & Quality Management activities. Maintain familiarity with computer databases and demonstrate ability in RHA III duties. Must possess previous professional experience with family planning services, medical laboratory experience, and counseling. Requires excellent communication skills, high energy, and attention to detail. Willingness to work evening, weekend, and additional hours is essential, along with flexibility to work at other Health Centers. Bi-lingual ability in Spanish is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE)
- Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience
- Additional training and/or education in reproductive health or medical services
- Demonstrated ability in the duties and responsibilities of RHA III position
- Previous professional experience with the provision of family planning services
- Previous medical laboratory and/or counseling experience
- Familiarity with computer databases
- Commitment to the efficient and customer-oriented provision of services
- Commitment to the operating goals and philosophies of Planned Parenthood of Illinois
- Excellent communication skills
- Bi-lingual ability in Spanish or other languages common to the area
- High energy level

- Willingness to participate in a team approach to health care
- Willingness to work a schedule that may include evening, weekend, and additional hours, if needed
- Willingness to work at other Health Centers if needed
