Job Summary

Lead Rehabilitation Technician provides team leadership and direct client care in a neurological rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include creating staff and resident schedules, training new staff, ensuring 24/7 safety, crisis prevention and resolution, documenting clinical and program activities, fostering collaborative relationships with clients and professionals, supporting activities of daily living (including mobility, cooking, dressing, bathing, grooming, bathroom assistance), assisting with bowel/bladder programs and feeding (G-tubes), wound care, transfers, monitoring vitals, relaying medical information between providers and care teams, understanding and implementing medical/behavioral/clinical care plans, supervising client medication needs, and connecting clients with community opportunities and employment/educational/volunteer interests. Requires strong empathy, professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education and growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Two-year degree or minimum 2 years’ equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid.
  • Commitment to scheduled shifts, assigned duties, and performance expectations.
  • Basic computer skills.
