Lead Registration Associate at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta responsible for expert-level coordination with patients, families, physicians, and insurance companies to obtain information and perform insurance verification to ensure accurate patient care and payment. Oversees data entry, scheduling, chart creation, and charge entry; collaborates with Appeals to overturn claims denials; conducts quality audits and may assist in hiring and orientation of staff. Requires experience in healthcare/clerical roles and familiarity with patient registration systems and Medicaid portals; knowledge of medical terminology and various registration and billing systems is preferred.
