Job Summary
Provide day-to-day support, direction, and monitoring of Patient Access registration staff while reviewing point-of-service collections to ensure departmental goals are achieved. Audit registrations for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established workflows, including documentation, scanned records, and account comments. Serve as a subject matter expert in Patient Access processes, promoting quality, productivity, and exceptional patient experiences through collaboration with internal departments and proactive communication of operational concerns to leadership. One to three years of Patient Access experience is required, with previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Base pay ranges from $19.10 to $28.65.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) to three (3) years of Patient Access, registration, or healthcare admissions experience
- Knowledge of Patient Access registration processes
- Knowledge of insurance verification
- Knowledge of patient admissions
- Strong understanding of customer service principles
- Strong understanding of patient experience standards
- Experience auditing registrations
- Experience monitoring quality metrics
- Experience monitoring productivity metrics
