Job Summary
Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) providing comprehensive respiratory therapy across ICU, PACU, and general floors with responsibility for neonatal through geriatric patient care. Conducts diagnostic testing including treadmill testing and PFTs, maintains ABG machinery, and supports hemodynamics. Performs a full range of respiratory care and floor therapies, and conducts patient assessments and treatments across age groups. Responsible for precepting and training staff, students, and orientees.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist or eligible to obtain licensure in Arizona
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Experience in ICU, PACU, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric respiratory care
- Ability to precept and train staff, students, and orientees
- Proficiency in diagnostic testing including PFTs, treadmill testing, ABG analysis and machine maintenance
- Perform all types of respiratory care and bedside therapies
- Experience with hemodymanics is a plus
- Night shift availability
