Job Summary
Lead Respiratory Therapist oversees and directs the daily shift activities, provides direct patient care and medication administration, ensures equipment functionality, and supports PI initiatives. Leads onboarding and precepting, mentors staff, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality respiratory care. Requires NBRC credentials (ACCS, AE-C, NPS, RPFT) and either an Associate or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy; multiple certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP/PALS-Instructor variants) are required; candidate has 2+ years critical care experience across adult ICU/CVICU/Burn/NICU/ED and is prepared to work in a patient-centered environment with a focus on safety, quality, and process improvement.
