Job Summary
Leads the daily management and supervision of the respiratory care staff, both clinically and administratively. Performs clinical duties including patient assessment, ventilator management, diagnostic evaluation and other respiratory care as needed. Acts as an expert clinician who guides the healthcare team, recommends and coordinates staffing priorities and work assignments.
Required Qualifications
- RRT credential and RCP license (CA)
- CPR/BLS certification
- NRP preferred
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
- PEARS preferred
- NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential
- NBRC-RRT/CRT credential
- BLS certification per AH policy
