Job Summary
Lead the respiratory care department at Adventist Health's St. Helena/Yountville-area facility, overseeing daily operations, clinical supervision, and staff scheduling; perform advanced respiratory therapies, ventilator management, and patient assessments; guide education for patients and alignment with policies while maintaining equipment, supplies, and infection control; ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation requirements and coordinate with physician teams for care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's) - Preferred
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- Five years' technical experience with specialized knowledge in PICC, Peds, and/or NICU - Preferred
- Two years' leadership experience - Preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Respiratory Care Practitioner(RCP) license - Required in CA
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification - Preferred
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - Preferred
- Pediatric Life Support certifications (PALS, PEARS) - Preferred
- Registered or Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care - Required
- NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required
