Lead Recycler

Lead the team at one of six HRRC sites, managing public inquiries on recycling materials and directing waste streams to appropriate skips. Ensure full utilization of recycling facilities in line with company policy and HWRC Contract requirements while advising the public on material separation. Conduct daily site inspections for safety and cleanliness, operate height restriction barriers, and manage access to the site. Operate plant equipment including compaction machinery, perform routine inspections on tools, and complete skip counts daily. Prevent unauthorized waste disposal, isolate hazardous materials, and remove fly-tipped waste from site gates. Coordinate with collection services and transport offices regarding waste levels and report defects immediately.
