Job Summary
The Lead Recovery Specialist II ensures the completion of clinical staff duties by supporting Recovery Specialist and Peer Support Specialist roles. This position provides direct services and collaborates with program leadership to implement policies and services focused on meeting the physical and psychological needs of individuals in recovery. Essential functions include overseeing service provision, maintaining communication with clinical directors, ensuring culturally competent services, and participating in staff training needs assessment. The role requires strong communication, judgment capabilities, and experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of direct service experience with psychiatric clients in an inpatient or outpatient setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
- Valid driver license and motor vehicle clearance if driving is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health related field
