Job Summary
Prepare patients for diagnostic examinations and perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures while scanning and transmitting required documents to the radiologist. Coordinate day-to-day operations of the X-ray section, including scheduling, inventory management, and vendor negotiations. Mentor and supervise diagnostic imaging staff through hiring, orientation, and training within the department's Quality Assurance Program. Requires NJ State License, ARRT Certification, and five years of X-Ray Technologist experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal radiologic technology training at an AMA school
- A minimum of five years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
- NJ State License
- ARRT Certification
- CPR Certification
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team
