Job Summary
Perform and supervise modality daily operations with 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promote imaging services by staying abreast of technology changes and ensure accreditation standards are maintained. Operate MRI equipment and other devices while working closely with department managers to ensure adequate staffing for 24/7 coverage. Requires an AMA approved radiologic technology degree, ARRT certification, and three years of technical experience. BLS certification and leadership skills are essential. Located at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- Registered as a Radiological Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- ARRT (R)
- 3-years of technical experience
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with certification in radiography
- BLS Certified
- Evidence of leadership
