Job Summary
As Lead Radiation Therapist, you will coordinate the radiation therapy team and daily operations, oversee treatments on linear accelerators and simulations, ensure SOP adherence, and orient/train staff on new procedures. You will maintain safe staffing levels, support multi-site operations, and uphold high-quality patient care. Key skills include leadership and staff development, critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication, interpersonal effectiveness, and strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and clear English communication are required. The role is based in Pensacola, FL, with responsibilities spanning radiation oncology operations and coordination under leadership in a multi-site cancer-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree is required
- Must have ARRT (T) certification
- A valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT, RTT) license in state of employment
- Five (5) years of previous clinical radiation therapy experience required
- Management/Leadership experience is needed
- BLS required (AHA preferred)
