Job Summary
Lead the design and development of low-voltage electrical systems and components while conducting research and feasibility studies for new technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to production, manage project timelines and budgets, and interface with customers to gather requirements. Mentor junior engineers, develop technical documentation, and evaluate new technologies to enhance product performance and efficiency. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards such as IEC, UL, and NEC. This role requires a Master's or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of R&D experience, proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in R&D with a focus on low voltage systems
- Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, components, and materials
- Proven experience in project management and leading engineering teams
- Proficiency in CAD software and electrical simulation tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
- Experience with regulatory standards such as IEC, UL, and NEC
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with renewable energy systems and energy storage technologies
