Job Summary
Conduct quality presence throughout the 2nd shift on the production floor, initiating and executing quality holds when product issues arise. Actively participate in investigations and corrective actions, documenting activities to eliminate future non-conformance and collaborating with R&D to find solutions. Perform and document laboratory testing for research and development, manage laboratory inventories, and conduct incoming, lab, and production inspections. Update SAP QM sections, represent the company in customer and vendor meetings, and ensure proper documentation of non-conformance and audits. Provide shift change notes for cross-shift collaboration and support regular line inspections. Requires 5+ years of progressive QA experience, SAP knowledge, and ability to stand 8-12 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Degree
- Must have working knowledge of various weights and measures
- Working knowledge of dimensional inspection gauges
- SAP experience
- Laboratory experience
- Must possess ability to perform math computations of manufacturer's specifications
- Ability to stand 8-12 hours
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language as pertaining to job-related responsibilities
- Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions
- 5+ years of progressive QA experience
