Job Summary
Lead Quality Auditor on a major semiconductor construction project in Clay, NY responsible for leading the implementation and audit activities of the project quality program. Will review contract quality requirements, monitor regulatory updates, oversee non-conforming conditions and corrective actions, and develop audit schedules and reports. Requires extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, experience in leading audits, and certification as a Lead Auditor. The role entails supervising audit teams across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with quality procedures, and providing guidance on quality requirements to project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up functions. Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years (or 14-17 in lieu of degree) of relevant experience are required, with extensive QA knowledge across industrial facilities and EPC contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
- 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 assessment requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading assessments and supervising teams through full project life cycle
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance requirements in construction, engineering, procurement, supplier quality, materials management, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in implementing and managing quality assurance programs
- Integrated Lead Auditor certification from an accredited body
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, leadership, and interfacing with senior stakeholders
