Job Summary
Own the end-to-end automation strategy covering Salesforce, UI, API, integration, and data validation testing. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks across enterprise applications and data platforms. Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on prioritized backlogs while establishing QA best practices, coding standards, and code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation-first practices and evaluate AI-assisted automation capabilities to improve efficiency. Mentor QA engineers and resolve branching conflicts within CI/CD environments. This full-time role in IST zone (40h/week) sits within Clarivate's Quality Assurance Automation team, which partners with Product, Development, and Data Engineering to ensure the integrity of enterprise applications and critical data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of QA and Test Automation experience
- 3+ years leading automation initiatives and technical QA teams in enterprise environments
- Expertise in designing and building enterprise-scale automation frameworks from the ground up
- Strong knowledge of framework architecture, design patterns, and maintainability best practices
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Proven experience implementing Data-Driven/Test-Driven automation frameworks
- Proven experience with code reviews
- Proven experience with CI/CD integration
- Proven experience with Git version control
- Proven experience resolving branching and merge conflicts
- Experience working independently in Agile and DevOps environments
