Job Summary
Lead Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for defining and scaling quality engineering standards, building end-to-end test strategies across UI/API/database/integration/security/performance, driving shift-left quality in SDLC, and designing enterprise automation frameworks. The role emphasizes automated testing, observability, release-readiness, and collaboration with global teams, including integration with AI-enhanced QA workflows. It requires senior-level QA leadership, hands-on automation experience, strong CI/CD and cloud familiarity, and mentoring capabilities, within a hybrid work environment in Bengaluru, India.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in software testing/quality engineering, including test automation and/or test architecture, in product environments
- Proven QA leadership across multiple engineering teams
- Hands-on depth in UI/API automation, integration & database testing, performance testing
- Strong CI/CD quality engineering and observability exposure (e.g., Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Grafana) plus cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficient in Java/Python/JavaScript (or similar) and modern automation tooling (Playwright/Cypress, K6, JMeter)
- Mentor and grow engineers through clear feedback and hands-on support
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, global, fast-moving environments
