Job Summary
Lead Quality Analyst at ERCOT responsible for defining the quality analysis strategy and leading the organization’s continuous improvement program using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies. Partners with multiple teams to reduce costs, strengthen quality, and foster a culture of accountability. Owns quality reporting to executives, CAPA processes, and enterprise-wide training in Lean/Six Sigma. Builds internal competency across levels, drives change management for major quality initiatives, and ensures regulatory and standards compliance. Requires strong analytical skills, data interpretation, and proficiency with Excel/Power BI and Visio; location is Taylor, TX and role is full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Auditing or related field (Required) or combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge
- Minimum 8 years of job-related work experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operations analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI, and experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and project management skills
- Experience in the electricity industry or energy sector (preferred)
- Six Sigma (Required or Preferred)
- ASQ (Preferred)
