Job Summary

Lead QC Mammography Technologist responsible for all QA tasks defined by the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act, plus performing routine and diagnostic mammography exams as ordered. Coordinates education and training of technologists, handles scheduling and problem solving, troubleshoots equipment and systems, ensures HIPAA confidentiality, and participates in performance-improvement activities. Supports mission/values, upholds standards, and collaborates with physicians and colleagues to deliver high-quality breast imaging services. Requires leadership experience, ARRT advanced certification in Mammography, and state license; prefers five years of mammography experience and AMA-accredited radiography training.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AMA accredited Radiography program
  • ARRT advanced certification in Mammography
  • State license required
  • Five years of specific mammography experience
  • Recent experience in all areas of routine and diagnostic mammography
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in the delivery of care for selected patient populations
  • Must be familiar with current regulations
