Job Summary
The Lead QA Engineer will architect, design, and implement scalable test automation frameworks for UI and API layers, spearhead AI-driven testing initiatives, and automate comprehensive regression and end-to-end test suites. Responsibilities include ensuring GxP compliance through automation frameworks and integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines. The role demands a profound ability to translate complex requirements into automated tests, operate independently, and solve challenging problems in a high-ownership environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from the ground up; not inheriting or maintaining existing ones.
- Founding QA mindset; ability to operate without a playbook in ambiguous and uncharted technical territory.
- Proven ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into comprehensive automated test suites.
- Deep expertise in enterprise backend testing including BDD with Gherkin/Cucumber against Java/Spring Boot applications.
- Strong command of modern UI automation tooling such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Strong API testing experience with large-scale datasets.
