Job Summary
Lead QA Auditor responsible for planning and conducting NQA-1 audits of nuclear processes, performing surveillances, following up on audit findings, liaising with stakeholders to manage corrective actions, and contributing to the development and improvement of the quality program. Maintains Lead Auditor certification per NQA-1 and supports contract reviews, project closeout, calibration records, and supplier information updates. Requires extensive knowledge of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B and NQA-1, familiarity with 10 CFR Part 21, and experience leading nuclear QA audits; remote work option with 25% travel to perform audits as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of nuclear experience, or Associate’s degree and seven years of nuclear experience. At least five years of experience in leading nuclear quality assurance audits is desired.
