Job Summary
Oversee purchasing activities, procurement workflows, and vendor relationships while ensuring timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate vendor performance, and manage Request for Proposals and bids to support organizational initiatives. Assist departments with procurement specifications, review transactions for compliance with federal requirements and internal policies, and maintain accurate audit documentation. Provide training and technical guidance to staff on purchasing procedures, approval workflows, and system usage. Serves as the lead resource for procurement functions within the Property & Supply division, coordinating complex activities to meet operational needs for new clinics and expanded services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Public Administration, or a related field
- Associate degree in a related field
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of progressively responsible procurement, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, contracting, or related experience
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible procurement, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, contracting, or related experience
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible procurement, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, contracting, or related experience
- Ability to lift and carry office materials or supplies up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to read, write, speak, and hear
- Documentation of completed MMR (Measles; Mumps and Rubella) immunization
- Documentation of completed Varicella (Chicken Pox) immunization
- Documentation of completed Hepatitis B immunization
- Documentation of completed Influenza immunization
- Documentation of completed T-dap (tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis) immunization
- Documentation of completed COVID-19 vaccination
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading projects, coordinating procurement activities, or serving as a technical resource for purchasing processes
