Job Summary
Lead the design and integration of protection and control systems for T&D substations, HVDC and FACTS projects, defining protection schemes, coordinating relay settings and panel/interconnect wiring, and ensuring system integration with SCADA, Cyber Security, and telecom needs. Manage local or remote design teams, review studies (load flow, fault, relay coordination, transients), develop testing procedures, support QA and ISO-related initiatives, and contribute to proposals and vendor engagements. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in engineering with 3+ years in protection and controls for substations or power generation, ability to travel up to 20%, and strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in protection and controls engineering for substations or power generation
- Ability to travel up to 20% (including international) for on-site work
- Desirable: P.E. License or EIT or equivalent certifications
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
