Job Summary

Lead a team of propulsion-analyses engineers to perform thermal, structural, dynamic, and durability analyses on Aeon-R engines and subsystems, guide design decisions, and ensure reliability and performance. Drive analysis of 3D-printed components and complex assemblies, develop interface loads via engine assembly FEA, establish best practices for analysis approaches and design factors, and mentor/recruit while coordinating with Propulsion Engineering and Materials teams. Collaborate with designers and manufacturing engineers, and develop/execute tests for development and qualification, including instrumentation setup and data processing. Thrive in ambiguity, lead projects to completion, and influence both technical direction and execution across the propulsion program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field
  • 5+ years of relevant analysis experience
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Experience with computer aided design (CAD) software
  • Experience in mentoring and demonstrated leadership skills
