Job Summary
Lead Property Maintenance Technician responsible for hands-on maintenance services (power and soft washing, gutter cleaning, window washing, dryer vent cleaning) and field operations. You will drive to customer locations, manage appointments from start to finish, and coach aJunior Technician while representing HomeSmiles professionally. This role requires ownership, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a clear path to broader leadership as the Northwest Ohio launch grows. You will document completed work on a company tablet, maintain the servicevan and equipment, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This position is in Northwood, OH, with weekdays-only schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:30 am–5:00 pm) and a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week. This is a hands-on, leadership role that emphasizes customer-facing excellence, safety, and growth-minded performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on mechanical, equipment maintenance, or skilled trades experience
- lead by example on job sites
- coach a Junior Technician
- drive to customer locations and manage appointments
- perform maintenance services: power and soft washing, gutter cleaning, window washing, dryer vent cleaning
- document completed work on a tablet
- keep vehicle and equipment in peak condition
- cannot perform licensed construction, plumbing, or electrical work
