Lead Projector Engineer

Job Summary
Lead Projector Engineer leads projector project teams to develop robust optical, mechanical, and electronic solutions, manages BOMs, risks, and technical documentation, collaborates with OEMs and suppliers from concept to SOP, ensures DFMEA, CAE, DV plans and certification standards, leads night drives and PPAP deliverables, and supports innovation, cost optimization, and new business development. Based in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic within OPmobility's Exterior & Lighting Business Group, the role requires university-level optics/physics or mechanical engineering background with proven leadership in automotive development, strong English, and proven project-management and presentation skills. Required Qualifications
- University degree in Optics/Physics or Mechanical Engineering
- at least 3 years’ experience with development in automotive industry
- at least 3 years of experience in leading technical projects and customer communication
- Previous experience in projector/headlamp design and plastic injection is a big plus
- Advanced English (both written and spoken)
- Strong planning, decision-making, and presentation skills
- Leadership and team coordination abilities
- Customer and result orientation, stress management, and self-reliance
