Job Summary
Lead Project Manager responsible for planning and executing programs with moderate to high value and complexity, including managing scope, requirements changes, dependencies, resource requirements, and impact on budget, time, and risk. Bridges vendor, business, and technology to deliver solutions, leads a technology team through ongoing delivery of functional capabilities, establishes governance, KPIs, and metrics, and ensures alignment with desired outcomes. Exhibits strong stakeholder management, team leadership, and the ability to secure resources, manage schedules, and communicate clearly. Requires experience delivering medium to large complexity technology projects with geographically diverse stakeholders, and proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies. Based in Toronto, Canada with RBC Wealth Management, offering a comprehensive rewards program and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years Project Management experience
- Proven ability to manage highly visible programs/projects with third party vendors
- Advanced communication skills including presentation, facilitation, verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize work for the greatest impact
- Advanced knowledge of change, issue, and risk management and SDLC in Waterfall and Agile
- Leadership/People management experience is an asset
- Experience with Planview, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
