Job Summary

Lead special projects and initiatives in safety, certification, and performance as directed by the Program Chief Program Engineer. Develop integrated plans, establish teams, and lead cross-functional technical integration to resolve complex issues supporting aircraft design, analysis, and production stream sustainability. Manage risk and opportunities while conducting detailed investigations to ensure system integration compliance and preclude safety issues. Communicate routinely with internal and external customers, regulators, and suppliers. This role requires a U.S. Secret Clearance, 10+ years of engineering experience, and 100% onsite work in Oklahoma City, OK.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 10+ years' experience performing complex engineering or system integration work
  • 7+ years' experience in leading and/or managing complex projects
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners
  • Ability to travel 10% - primarily domestic. There may be short durations where travel needs exceed this value.
  • This position will be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • A final U.S Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process

Desired Qualifications

  • Aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Mission Systems, Propulsion, or Systems
  • Experience with certification, working with FAA regulations and Regulatory Administration
  • Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers
  • Experience with complex systems development and integration
  • Experience with leading project execution to complete the work statement
  • Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. Earned value management, DOORs, CAMEO)
  • Good communication skills and a self-starter that takes initiative without supervision
  • Adaptable and able to operate in a dynamic environment to meet objectives on time
  • Military certification experience working with MIL-HDBK-516
  • Project Management exposure / experience (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008)
  • Ability to quickly analyze, understand, organize and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines
  • Take ownership/initiative, pull teams together, establish battle rhythm and remove roadblocks
