Job Summary
Conduct deep cleaning and restoration tasks on floors, including stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and post-construction clean-ups. Operate industrial buffers and scrubbers while performing local deliveries of supplies, power washing, and flood clean-ups. Collaborate with managers to learn new equipment and processes, inspect materials, and resolve customer complaints. Move large furniture safely and maintain a valid driver's license for business travel. Report on time, work overtime as required, and pass background checks and drug screens. This dual position includes general cleaning duties and on-call availability via company cell phones. Reports to the District Manager, General Manager, or Vice President for specific on-call specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Ability to pass background check required by customers
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to work with industrial buffers and scrubbers
- Ability to travel for business
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to report on time
- Ability to perform project tasks including stripping floors, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and other periodic or project work
- Ability to perform project work consisting of local deliveries of supplies, post construction clean-ups, floor care, flood clean up, carpet care, power washing and various tasks resolving customer complaints
- Ability to inspect and set up new equipment, material, and processes
- Ability to collaborate with a manager to learn new types of equipment, materials, and processes
- Ability to provide an excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers
- Ability to move large furniture and objects in such a manner that safety guidelines are followed
- Ability to work Monday to Friday
- Ability to work 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- Ability to be on-call availability via company cell phones
