Job Summary
Maintain residential programs to high standards by ensuring adequate staffing, managing facilities and vehicles, and administering medication per established procedures. Provide direct care including personal hygiene, house cleaning, meal preparation, and transporting clients to activities, appointments, and jobs while driving them in company vehicles. Develop activity calendars, create efficient transportation schedules, and maintain all client records, progress notes, and facility documentation. Collaborate with staff to follow behavior plans and policies, cooperate with licensing inspections, and manage inventory for supplies and groceries. Each shift covers 4-5 residents with full responsibility for their well-being. Shifts run Monday through Sunday from 3 PM to 11 PM, with Saturday and Sunday runs from 7 AM to 3 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess a full valid New Jersey Driver's License Non-Probationary with no restrictions
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proven professional written and verbal communication
- Adequate computer skills and problem solving skills
- Must be able to successfully complete all NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities mandated training with in the required time frame
- The requirements for checks of Criminal Background, the Central Registry, the Child Abuse Registry, and Drug Testing must be completed prior to working with any clients in the Day Program or Residential Program
- Monday - Sunday: 3PM - 11PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7AM - 3PM
