Job Summary
Lead Quality Engineering role overseeing other QE staff, enforcing test/production process controls, and delivering cross-functional quality solutions. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and data packages, approving assembly instructions and procurement requisitions, performing RCCA activities, interfacing with Government/PM customers, completing CDRL data, and ensuring Certificates of Conformance per contractual requirements. Requires strong interpretation of drawings, ISO/AS 9100 experience, and travel readiness.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree or MS degree
- 8–12 years of relevant experience or 6–10 years with a Masters
- Ability to solve complex problems and communicate across management levels
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Experience with electrical test environment and test equipment in the IFFP program
- Proficiency with micrometers, height gauges, gage blocks, radius gauges, and calipers
- Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment
- Ability to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for quality inspections
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance
