Job Summary
Plan, implement, and evaluate daily therapeutic programs including arts and crafts, music, and word games for older adults, including those with dementia. Coordinate community outings and assign staff to daily activities while maintaining the highest level of independence for each member. Update social workers and case managers on member progress and behavior changes. Perform additional tasks as needed, including occasional bus driving. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with no evenings, weekends, on-call, or holiday shifts. Located at 112 7th Ave N, Princeton, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training and/or licensure in health care or social service field
- Bachelor's degree in human services, recreational therapy or related field
- equivalent experience
- Successful experience working with older adults
- Successful experience working with persons living with dementia
- Dependable, responsible and professional
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Medication Administration certification
