Lead, Production 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Coordinate all packaging supplies and mixed ingredients to production lines while maintaining hoppers and ensuring 97% uptime. Lead the 2nd shift team by demonstrating company standards, mentoring new hires, and training all members to reduce waste through proper tracking. Serve as back-up to the Production Supervisor, relay material shortages to affected departments, and check daily case packing paperwork for error-free results. Hold team members accountable for line efficiencies and ensure adherence to safety standards and good manufacturing practices. Assist with daily line set-up and staffing to meet labor requirements while continuously proposing enhancements to improve line performance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to resolve issues dealing with diverse groups
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the information presented
- Ability to write reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, round decimals to the nearest whole number
