Job Summary
Conduct business sign-off testing and simulations to validate design modifications and ensure performance standards. Evaluate customer feedback to integrate insights into product enhancements and lead root cause analysis for failures. Own key customer relationships to understand usage patterns and drive feature requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design changes and meet industry requirements while analyzing product performance data for improvements. Facilitate design reviews and walkthroughs to simplify complex proposals for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Background in construction operations with hands-on experience using Caterpillar technologies like VisionLink
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar Onboard technologies regarding safety solutions or operator ID
- Knowledge of Caterpillar payload applications, including onboard weighing systems
- Experience in the development of web solutions or machine performance and control systems
- Self-motivated, results-driven individual with technical expertise
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and field support
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational insights into actionable product improvements
- Ability to explain products and services with little or no use of technical jargon or advanced vocabulary
- Ability to perceive lack of audience comprehension and further simplify explanation when needed
- Ability to perform at least 3-4 concurrent activities without reducing productivity
- Ability to make sound recommendations when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives
- Ability to facilitate design reviews and walkthroughs
- Ability to analyze benefits and drawbacks of specific proposals
- Must be available for up to 25% travel as needed
- Must successfully complete a drug screen
- Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL or Broomfield, CO offices
