Job Summary

Own the long-term digital vision for the Salesforce ecosystem by building feature roadmaps and prioritizing work based on business value and user impact. Translate business needs into technical user stories, groom the daily backlog, and validate engineering deliverables to eliminate project management overhead. Push for native Salesforce capabilities over custom code while managing tech debt and overseeing deployment cycles. Coordinate with product development engineers to track design, development, support, and maintenance problems, and consolidate feedback from customers and field staff to resolve issues and expand product usage.

Required Qualifications

  • Prioritize, sequence, and maintain the product backlog daily
  • Set strict boundaries for when a feature is complete
  • Validate and sign off on completed engineering work
  • Push for out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities over custom code
  • Balance new feature requests with platform health and cleanup
  • Plan deployment cycles and coordinate technical feature releases
  • Track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions
  • Identify, document, and report design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs
  • Gather and consolidate feedback from customers and field staff
  • Coordinate with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage
  • Answer customer and field support questions
  • Provide guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues
  • Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs
  • Ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders
  • Analyzes the value of a business and its functions through the value estimation of assets
  • Applies the prerequisites to a project before starting the business analysis process

  • Critiques user acceptance plans for appropriateness and completeness
  • Develops approaches for acceptance testing following legal or contractual agreements
  • Monitors end-users in defining the testing environment and acceptance criteria
  • Explains the importance of being actively involved in test designs and other testing phases
  • Applies user acceptance testing in typical software development scenarios
  • Consults on test strategies, components, processes, plans and approaches during the user acceptance testing process
