Job Summary
Lead Product Designer at Smartly responsible for shaping the product experience, identifying high-impact opportunities, translating insights into strategic direction, designing intuitive features, conducting discovery with customers, collaborating with PMs, engineers and researchers, mentoring junior designers, and contributing to an AI-native design system. The role emphasizes end-to-end design ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and hybrid work from Helsinki with potential for growth and leadership opportunities in Marketing Tech/AdTech.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product design
- Ability to lead the design process end-to-end (opportunity to grow further)
- Experience with UX research, customer interviews, and discovery with product managers and leadership
- Mentor and coach junior designers
- Experience in Marketing Tech or AdTech domains is beneficial
- Energetic, team-spirited, with a drive for growth and empowerment
- Previous experience in frontend development or vibe coding is beneficial
- Ability and willingness to work from the Helsinki office at least three days per week
- Hybrid workplace with flexible balance of office and remote work
- Strong collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Researchers, and leadership
- Opportunity to influence product direction and strategy
