Job Summary
Shape product direction by driving discovery, framing problems before solutions, and translating customer insights into strategic opportunities alongside Product, Engineering, and Research. Design end-to-end customer journeys across ecosystems and platforms, mapping workflows to identify friction while balancing local optimization with system-wide outcomes. Lead through influence by facilitating difficult conversations, advocating for quality, and fostering a culture of experimentation where hypotheses are validated through rapid prototyping and customer feedback. Build scalable design systems and frameworks that improve information architecture and reduce complexity, mentoring designers to raise organizational capability. Use AI intentionally to accelerate ideation, synthesize research, and improve workflows while evaluating ethical considerations. Collaborate across teams to establish scalable design practices that outlast individual projects, ensuring better decisions with less friction throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience designing and shipping digital products in complex environments
- A portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, strategic influence and measurable impact—not just polished interfaces
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills
- A deep understanding of product strategy, customer research and experimentation
- Experience mentoring designers and raising organisational capability
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly AI, and how they reshape products and design practice
