Job Summary
Design software and workflows to optimize food movement through facilities, managing thousands of daily orders via dashboards, staging, and courier handoffs. Build tools that empower kitchen partners to scale by preparing, managing, and fulfilling orders efficiently. Create products supporting restaurant partners throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding and facility access to rent management and maintenance requests. Explore and implement AI-powered solutions for customers and internal design teams. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and operations to iteratively plan, build, test, and launch products. Conduct discovery research to surface user insights and refine ideas through design critiques and cross-functional reviews. Contribute to and improve core patterns within the design system.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product or UX design
- Strong full-stack design skills; from interaction design to visual design to system thinking, and everything in between
- A proven track record of building products from the ground up and working effectively with cross-functional partners
- Familiarity with designing complex data-driven applications like dashboards, maps, and analytics
- Familiarity with designing mobile apps
- An impact-driven mindset that prioritizes delivering value to customers as fast as possible
- An ability to be a strategic partner by helping to understand the competitive environment and shape a vision for how our products will fit in the market
- A team player who is a proactive communicator, has no ego, and loves to collaborate with others
- Sound judgement that combines data with instinct to build the right thing and meet business objectives
- This role is based in our West Coast (San Francisco or Mountain View) office
- all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week
