Lead Product Designer - eCommerce

Job Summary
Lead and manage the e-commerce and subscriptions design team across regions, driving end-to-end product design from discovery to delivery. Partner with engineering, product management and marketing to raise design and product thinking for subscription funnels, acquisition and retention. Combine individual contributor and managerial responsibilities, plan workload, coach designers, and build cross-functional relationships. Demonstrate experience designing for subscription models across app and web, run workshops, perform discovery through delivery, and ship high-quality experiences. Collaborate with VP of Product Design to grow the team, shape practices and culture. Produce artefacts (sketches, flows, prototypes), create production-ready assets, and ensure quality experiences shipped. Facilitate workshops and design sprints, communicate progress to key partners (including the C-suite), mentor reports, and evolve the design culture. Strong portfolio highlighting impact across platforms, agile delivery, and stakeholder collaboration. Proficiency with prototyping tools (Figma, Protopie, Miro) and openness to AI-enabled tooling; fluent in English.
Required Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating team and individual accomplishments across interaction and visual design
- Experience leading product design teams and collaborating with product managers, engineers, stakeholders and users in an agile environment
- Proven ability to shift between detailed craft and strategic vision; drive trade-offs and planning
- Understanding of technologies used to build digital product experiences; familiarity with accessibility and usability fundamentals
- Experience in responsive design across devices; high standards for usability and design quality
- Proficiency with prototyping and design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Protopie); ability to choose the right tool for the task
- Experience working with subscription business models
- Experience managing and leading a small team of product designers
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with user research, workshops, and design sprints
- Ability to present rationale to executives (C-suite) and cross-functional partners
- Hybrid working pattern experience and collaboration across geographies
