Job Summary
Lead design for AI-enabled product experiences across Cisco Networking platforms, turning ambiguous opportunities into clear concepts, flows, and shipped experiences. Design AI-first interactions that surface context, automate routine work, and guide customer decisions while maintaining deep technical fluency in AI evolution and data modeling. Define reusable UX patterns for explanations, user control, and feedback across agentic and automation-heavy workflows. Partner with cross-functional teams to make technical capabilities feasible and useful, translating user goals into design direction and telemetry requirements. This individual contributor role shapes portfolio-wide experiences in recommendations, predictive insights, and intelligent network solutions for organizations globally.
Required Qualifications
- A portfolio showing shipped AI-powered, ML-enabled, or data-intensive product experiences with clear customer value, outcomes, and craft
- 10+ years of product design experience leading complex enterprise, platform, or technical products from strategy through delivery
- Production experience designing AI-enabled products or ML-powered workflows, including trust, control, personalization, review, feedback, adoption, and failure states
- Strong UX/UI skills across interaction design, visual craft, systems thinking, and data visualization for complex workflows and decision support
- Technical fluency with AI, data, platform, and engineering partners, with experience aligning teams through research, prototyping, AI tools, lean UX, and measurable outcomes
- Experience mentoring designers, raising craft quality, and using AI tools to explore, prototype, test, communicate, and improve collaboration
