Job Summary
Develop requirements and specifications for Sport Presentation across all assigned venues, representing the team as a cluster-level leader within Event Testing and Games-time planning structures. Lead day-of-event detailing to complement conceptual and operational planning while compiling sport-specific protocols required for accurate and compliant presentation in accordance with International Federation regulations. Manage the operational structure and technical implementation plan for Sport Presentation, overseeing a multi-disciplinary workforce of paid staff, contractors, and volunteers. Source and contract staff for all assigned venues and collaborate with Functional Area managers to ensure requirements are captured across logistics, technology, and venue planning. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of broadcast operations, audio, lighting, video production, and special effects to educate, engage, and entertain live audiences at every competition venue.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field (live events, sport management, business, marketing, or equivalent) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7+ years of international experience in Sport Presentation, live sporting events, or sports broadcasting/television production
- Olympic, Paralympic, or major multi-sport international event experience
- Must have 'show calling' and Venue Production experience in order to manage team of Venue Producers
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated strength in communication, team leadership, and stakeholder relationship management
- Proven working relationships with International Federations, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), and the International Olympic Committee (IOC)
- Broad knowledge of the international sport system and elite-level competition structures across multiple disciplines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder, project-based environment with strict delivery timelines
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities in a high-stakes Games-time environment
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have proven experience in Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as knowledge of Sport Presentation and Victory Ceremonies as well as a background in sport
- Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
