Job Summary
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following Montessori pedagogy while planning engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Lead innovative learning activities, monitor student progress and development, and document individual growth. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times and create a harmonious environment where students and fellow teachers thrive. Requires Lead Teacher Montessori Training and Certificate, 2-5 years of experience, and a strong commitment to the Montessori philosophy. Starting at $32.00 to $35.00 hourly with childcare tuition discounts and career development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Lead Teacher Montessori Training and Certificate
- 2-5 Years of Experience
- 12 ECE Units
- College degree
- Experience working with children ages 3-6
- Willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
