Job Summary
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following Montessori pedagogy while planning engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Lead innovative learning activities that foster children's growth and monitor their progress through ongoing assessment and documentation. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, creating a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers thrive. Assess and document student progress to support individual development within a supportive work environment. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with childcare tuition discounts and relocation options available.
Required Qualifications
- willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
