Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum development and implement Montessori pedagogy to promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Plan engaging daily activities, monitor student progress, and document development milestones while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Create a harmonious environment where students and staff thrive. Requires 2-5 years of experience in a certified child development center, a High School Diploma or GED, and CDA certification preferred. Competitive hourly pay of $18.00-$20.00 with childcare tuition discounts and relocation options available.
Required Qualifications
- willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
