Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Monitor individual progress and document student development to support age-appropriate curriculum implementation. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. This role requires experience in a Montessori teaching environment, a willingness to follow Montessori philosophy, and strong communication skills for interacting with parents and staff. Required Qualifications
- willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
