Job Summary
Facilitate and guide preschool classroom activities, including curriculum implementation, daily routines, field trips, and arranging equipment to maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing learning environment. Assist with developmentally appropriate activities, communicate with families regarding children's progress, and complete required forms and records accurately. Participate in pre-service, in-service, and mandatory training to meet EEC and Head Start requirements. This role supports the education and well-being of young children through high-quality early childhood programs and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher Preschool certified
- Knowledge and experience of developmentally appropriate practices
- 2 years minimum experience working with preschool children
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm
