Job Summary
Lead a classroom of preschool-aged children (ages 4 to 5) by teaching Universal Pre-Kindergarten with a co-teacher and implementing The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®. Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences while maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Build strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers by communicating daily regarding their growth and development. Complete lesson plans, classroom documentation, and assessments, and coach assistant teachers and support staff. Support center events, family engagement activities, and enrollment initiatives while ensuring compliance with Colorado licensing, health, and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualifications
- Formal Education, CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or related experience
- Experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or Early Learning environment
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to lift, carry 50lbs, and actively engage with children throughout the day to include sitting on the floor
Desired Qualifications
- PDIS Credential 3.0 Level 2 or higher
