Job Summary
Lead a classroom of preschool-aged children (Ages 4 years to 5 Years) teaching Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) with a co-teacher. Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® by creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences and completing lesson plans, documentation, and assessments. Build strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers while communicating daily regarding their child's growth. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, coach assistant teachers, and support center events and enrollment initiatives. Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing, health, and safety requirements. Requires CPR/First Aid certification, Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualifications, and experience in a licensed childcare center.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualifications
- Formal Education, CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or related experience required
- Experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or Early Learning environment required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- Ability to lift, carry 50lbs, and actively engage with children throughout the day to include sitting on the floor
Desired Qualifications
- PDIS Credential 3.0 Level 2 or higher preferred
